Bel has worked with landowners and managers for the last 30 years to help them deliver their environmental aspirations as part of their core farming and land management businesses. She has expertise in the creation of lowland species-rich meadows, arable habitats, natural flood management, diffuse pollution and government funding and has also advised on transitioning towards more sustainable farming, employing elements of regenerative farming and integrated farm management. She sees biodiversity net gain as a great opportunity to deliver a countryside where food production and wildlife can coexist and thrive and species such as curlew are once more heard ‘bubbling’ in decent numbers across the Severn Vale and Shropshire Hills!
